As long as the skill changes are all there I'll be happy - HoM is useless.....unless you're the bragging type.

One thing about the skill update... I hope they dont just target a few professions, rather enhance ineffective skills equally from all professions. If not, this update will pretty much mean nothing to me.

Then i bet you hate the fact that izzy has his own forum especially to discuss skill changes with certain players even more.

I am looking forward to the update, though things are gonna get crazy on the forums, O-well that is nature of the beast.
As for Ursan, I guess I've always understood both sides, hell I've had a main char, Ranger and Mes in DOA with no chance of getting into a pug. At the time I had no guild to play in the area as well. I can also see how ursan was the great eqalizer, (as long as you were willing to max the title) so that pugs were so easy to run they became very viable and thus had a high sucess rate.
Yet I've seen how Ursan has effected the entire community, the apathy that it has the potential to create destroys some of the best parts of pve. While at the same time Ursan can make people less inclined to jump into PvP from PvE, as it was intended to do. (I know 3 years is a little late but still... and we now have PvE and PvP skill...)
However, I have come to the conclusion that the reason I created a ranger was to... Doh... play a ranger and the same goes for the Mesmer, Warrior, Sin, and other pve professions I have. I enjoy the individual aspects of those professions. This is one of the reasons I enjoy AB, relaxed, (though at time immature) fun PvP that I, whenever I fell like, change professions just to experience somthing new.
So, all of you who still do not wish to see Ursan nerfed ask yourself, "why did I create my______?" fill in the blank. It is time to see Ursan go.
Now that that is out of the way it is also time to send Ursan off with a bang!

RIP Ursan! (at least I hope!)

We don't actually know that though. Some of those things they've said will happen in the future, some are being "looked at". All we know for sure is a "monster update" this week. Let's not try to make tomorrow into something it may not be and start a "but they said...." fest, because they haven't. In fact I believe Regina stated Hom would not be in tomorrow's update. Don't get all pumped and get others all hyped for unconfirmed ideas.

According to Regina in LA earlier:
Ursan Nerf
PVE skill update
SF small buff
Chaos Plains were looked at, monsters updated
NO HoM update
Hard Mode will be harder
Mesmer skill buff
Buffs to weaker elites
NO new content planned
NO expansions planned for GW1
Hero AI updated
Probably more, but yeah.
We'll know tomorrow.

I really hope your wrong.
Guess time will tell.
After seeing more and more requests for Ursans outside of elite areas for Vanqs and HM in general I'm still generally optimistic it will be changed although I gave up on false expectations years ago.

Are you positive that this "monster" update is on Thursday ? Because it's Thursday here in Serbia ( around 6am though) and there are no updates.

A build that required near zero thought and simply the ability to follow a monk and then roll your head around on a keyboard was your favourite build?
